FROM PAPER TO SCULPTURAL RELIEF
Giving a New Dimension to Timeless Art
For centuries, artists have captured mythology, beauty, drama, and the human form in drawings, engravings, and illustrations on paper.
At PHOENIX RISING CERAMICS, we are transforming some of these two-dimensional masterpieces into extraordinary three-dimensional porcelain reliefs, breathing new life into images that have existed only on paper heretofore.
Through our proprietary technologies, delicate lines and brushstrokes become sculptural contours, shadows become physical depth, and intricate details emerge with a richness and dimensionality impossible to achieve through conventional porcelain manufacturing.
This transformation is an artistic evolution, honoring the spirit of the original work while revealing an entirely new world of sculptural beauty, depth, and dimensionality.
What began as ink on paper is reborn in porcelain relief.

FROM DELFT TILES TO SCULPTURAL PORCELAIN
Sometimes inspiration comes from the most unexpected places.
One day, standing in my kitchen, I happened to look at a decorative Delft tile hanging on the wall. A thought crossed my mind: “What would this look like in three dimensions?”
That simple question sparked an exploration of traditional Dutch tile imagery, transforming familiar blue-and-white scenes into richly dimensional porcelain sculpture.
Windmills, sailing ships, landscapes, and village scenes suddenly took on an entirely new character, with sculptural depth, dramatic shadows, brilliant white porcelain, and touches of precious gold.
What began as a passing thought in my kitchen became a celebration of Delft's artistic heritage, reimagined through the extraordinary possibilities of modern porcelain sculpture.
