Classical & Mythology

Mythology has long provided one of civilization’s richest visual languages—a world of gods, muses, heroes, beauty, mystery, symbolism, and enduring human drama. The works below draw upon Greek, Roman, and broader mythic traditions not as fixed historical subjects, but as living material for reinvention. Familiar narratives become points of departure for new compositions blending mythology with ornament, celestial imagery, sacred symbolism, and contemporary invention to create works that feel both timeless and newly imagined.

I have always been drawn to mythology for its emotional resonance, grandeur, symbolism, and limitless visual possibility. Rather than simply illustrating familiar stories, I approach these concepts as opportunities to imagine sculptural objects of presence—works intended to feel dimensional, materially rich, emotionally evocative, and ultimately translatable into museum-quality gilded porcelain and glass.

These works are presented as concept studies developed through an evolving dialogue between artistic direction and emerging AI technologies. As with any early concept process, occasional anatomical or structural anomalies may appear. The final work would undergo artistic refinement and perfecting, sculptural correction, and material translation through PHOENIX RISING CERAMICS’ museum-quality gilded Jasperware porcelain and translucent glass processes.
